Ive been smokin and drinking for a long time before i started feeling like this. On and off my throat used to hurt in the mornings, like a sore throat. I ignored it of course and kept on smokin, drinking. Then it all happened. In my mind it seems like that was the cause. I quit smoking couple months ago but i dont think it helped. It all started around 7 months ago when my head felt really numb and pressurized all of a sudden. Then my throat felt really tight and when i swallow, it felt like something was kind of constricting my swallow. Now it hurts behind my breastbone to my stomach area it seems. I get upset stomach from time to time and im afraid. I went to a EnT doctor and he gave me a bunch of anti biotics but it didnt work. He also did a simple endoscopy through my nose, he didnt find anything wrong. Then i went to a regular doctor, Got blood test and urinanlysis. He didnt find anything wrong in the readings as well. Where do i go next?... I mean the doctor did mention i might have to go get a endoscopy done somewhere to see my esophagus, but im very very scared of that procedure. I am very phobic of throwing up or gagging. It took me a couple months to even do the Ent endo which was supposedly nothing. Im scared i might have cancer or something serious. It feels like its spreading. I mean it might be in my head but it feels like it. Please tell me what kind of doctor i should go see next and if the endoscopy is necessary, which doc specializes in it and can it be done with me knowing nothing..
