I'll admit that after 6 weeks i don't burp (every once and a while a little bubble of gas makes it's way up). i burped a lot before the procedure. i don't feel like it's a big problem. i do have more flatulence now, but it's the price you gotta pay. i'd rather not burp than feel all the reflux come up, but that's just my opinion. on a side note, even though i can't burp, i have very little problem swallowing anything, except pills.
