Hello board,
I wanted to run this by you guys to see if anyone had any ideas. My symptoms are pretty much limited to a sore throat below the Adam's apple. When I lay down at night to sleep, it seems to go away quite quickly. I've had instances of where I've gone to bed with some discomfrt, awoken just an hour later and everything was good already. In addition, when I awake in the AM I have no discomfort.
My barium swallow showed small sliding hiatal hernia. Could it be that in the supine position that hernia somehow recudes to the point that everything closes up properly?
