Hi everyone I've had GERD symptoms and my doctor is checking me out for this. My throat is awfully sore, it seems I can't swallow properly, i'm constantly clearing my throat and my voice is hoarse. However, I do have that lump sensation in my throat. I know that many of you have this as well and that it is common. But can anyone explain "THE LUMP"? What the heck is it? What causes it? And most importantly what can make it go away?
