I get what feels like a knot in the lower chest area (it is not my heart) and it feels like a good burp would release it---but it doesn't. It is very uncomfortable and I have tried Tums, Malanta, etc. with little impact. It lasts for six hours or so and then goes away. It started last June and I seem to have episodes every two weeks or so. Any idea on what I have? What I should do?
