Thanks for the interesting article. I have an appointment with Dr. Filipi the 24th with an endoscopy and manometry to see if I am a candidate for the Endocinch. Out of all the procedures out there it seems like it has the potential to do the least amount of harm and is completely reversible. If it does not work just have the stitch snipped. I wonder with the Gatekeeper swelling up inside the esophageal tissue if it can be removed if it fails without damaging the esophagus? None of these endoscopic procedures would help those with a hiatal hernia of a certain size, right?
