Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well. I have a quick question. Do most common fruits such as bananas, apples, peaches, and oranges naturally contain citric acid ? Also what is the difference between citric acid and ascorbic acid ? Are most GERD sufferers able to tolerate fruits, or are they like tomatoes where they should be avoided all together? I am trying to incorporate some natural fruits into my diet of cereals and sandwiches and not rely upon usless vitamin pills to attempt to get my vital nutrients ? Any information or feedback would greatly be appreciated.

Take care,

Jim C.
