My daughter has been having these attacks where she is fine then all of a sudden she gets panicky and starts reaching for her neck, unable to breathe at all, it lasts about 1-3 minutes, then she she comes very close to unconsciousness, then gasps and breathes again. We have been told not to worry and given an inhaler. This only happens rarely, but it is really scarey. Does this sound familiar to anyone, if so what the heck is going on. No help from doctors, they don't seem to know.
