Hi Amber's Mom,
Couple questions please........
Does Amber have asthma? What kind of inhaler was it they prescribed? How old is Amber and has she ever had panic attack before?
The reason I'm asking is I've had family members with asthma related gastro problems that were also contributing factors to panic. All of these things can work together for a seemingly complicated mess until you can get into someone that knows what the heck they're doing. So sorry for you and your daughter (rest of family , too, if applies) because this kind of thing is amazingly scary for sure. I know, I've seen one of my nephews almost die once from not being able to breathe , the cause being an asthma / panic attack.
