Depending where on the arm the bump is, it is possible that it could be a ganglion. This is a benign (not cancer) cystic tumor formed on the sheath of a tendon. Sometimes little fatty benign tumors form as well. It is always best to play it safe and visit your doctor. Make a list of any other little things that might be bothering you and get it all covered at once.
