Hi Tom... thanks for taking a moment to post ;) My pain in general is the whole region under the breastbone...pain in the back. Sometimes if I vomit the pain gets very intense! The doctor doesn't think gallbladder because I can eat foods that would normally cause an attack if it was gallbladder, and because I had the reflux so bad, I mean I would sometimes wake up at night choking and coughing! He has me on previcid...one tablet a day 30mg. But was changed to nexium...40mg,one tablet a day. haven't had harsh symptoms in a while. He also said that if it were my gallbladder, these symptoms would happen more frequently. If I have anymore "attacks" I will go to the ER, someone said that it is best to get the test while an attack is at it's best :( Thanks again... Christine.
