I noticed a posting about use of alcohol and barrrets. I do not drink alcohol and never did drink more than small amounts. It may be one cause but there are many other ways to get barrets. Mine probably had to do with family history of digestive/gerd problems, maybe stress and other factors. who knows for sure. except i have it and have to deal with it.
