Is two weeks post surgery too soon to be expecting total relief from GLOBUS and SOB?

Hello, all.

I am just over two weeks post-hill repair and am still convinced that I am not refluxing - however, I just experienced a rebound of throat tightness and shortness of breath over the past couple of days that has me a bit concerned.

I'm not panicked yet as I heard that throat symptoms can take awhile to dissipate, but to get worse after improving a bit immediately after surgery? Is this just from re-bound inflamation or something?

I do NOT get an immediate reaction after eating like before the surgery, but it seems to be unaffected by eating?

My swallowing is progressing fairly well, and I feel ready to move on to semi-soft foods in a few days (on soft foods now).

Can anyone share experiences post-surgery who had globus and breathing probs as their primary symptom(s)?

Thanks in advance.
