Yes, I too have been reading what Dr. Weil says about my situation, and that is why I'm taking the DGL tablets, and the herbal digestive aid. I suppose my concern is, should I, in fact, continue to combine the traditional meds and the homeopathic ones, or should I just concentrate on the latter, as the conventional meds have clearly caused me (combined with the stress) to have a decidedly messed up stomach. Yes, there has been some weight loss, but not a large amount, as I am able to eat and keep my food down, I just don't have any real desire to eat most of the time (although I do enjoy my food sometimes still when I eat). As I've said before, I haven't thrown up once this entire time (almost three months), and have not had diahrea. You can press into my stomach, and there is never any pain, just the queasiness and "warm" sensations, so is this an atypical case of gastritis, or just a bad reaction to both PPIs and acid blockers? I worry because of the damage that might be going on in my stomach, despite all my precautions. Can my stomach begin to suffer from such damage at this early stage (since late February)? Thanks again for your feedback-- it really helps.
