hernia complications(?)

3 weeks ago had hernia surgery-seems an old c-section bikini cut is falling apart.doc fixed hernia with mesh, but I had massive fluid for 2 weeks-then the 3rd it looked good but my pelvic region and upper inner left leg is numb, also right next to one end of the surgery is 'mushy' and pops oput whenever I step as if there is another or the original has snuck through the new surgery somehow. doc wants to 'keep an eye on it' even though I can do nothing without having to stop and push it in. Also, since the day I got the original hernia, my food is not traveling into my lower intestine regularly.I have no feeling of needing to have a bowel movement for days at a time-at all, yet my chest to my belly button is in such extreme pain day and night that I can't function or sleep, and usually feel full to the point where if I force myself to eat I may vomit. I have in the past had both a blockage and Hpylori but can not remember which caused the pain I have now. The blockage was post surgery and I remember a regeim of pills and metimucil 3 times a day for about 4 months. Can the hernia, tho I push it in, somehow affect or cause a blockage? If so, why doesn't sleeping on my back allow it to relax and digest properly? My upper torso feels so bloated, and I know there is gas in there but I don't pass that either.
