2nd nissen fundo

i had a failed nissen fundo parcial wrap. my surgeon said that he could do a 2nd fundo full wrap and that he could cut some of the acid producing nerves in the stomach which would help with the acid but that they would grow back in a few years. what do you think about cutting some of the nerves that produce acid in the stomach? i have horrible acid reflux at this point in time since the 1st nissen. would it benefit me to have this done to help in case the 2nd nissen does not work either?
