Although I have never seen on an autonomic dysfunction in patients with Sjogrens disease, it certainly is a theoretical possibility. This could be diagnosed either by a nuclear gastric emptying study or a gastric motility study. If gastric and was poor, a drainage procedure could be considered including a pyloroplasty. Alternatively, eating small frequent meals may improve your symptoms dramatically.
