The brand name for Omeperazole is Prilosec. Although there it is a theoretical concerns to taking Prilosec over a prolonged period of time, it appears safe to take for at least a 10 year period of time. What is most important to is that you start to get your symptoms under control. Although I have no problems with the homeopathic medications, you need to be taking standard medications for your very severe problem.
