Hi Nancy. I take baclofen for reflux. I have tried every drug there is and this is the only one that helps at all. I take 10mg 3x a day. It is a strong antispasmadic/muscle relaxant that helps relax the LES. I don't believe it is very effective for reflux with a weak LES. If you have reflux in the upright position, I feel it is the most effective drug on the market. Who is your doc? I wonder because my experience is that there are very few docs who know about this drug. It is primarily prescribed for cerebral palsy.
