I had my fundoplication surgery last week (June 1st) and have been on a "liquid" diet: water, Gatorade, Ensure, breakfast drinks of milk and powder ---all at room temperature. I am going nuts not eating. I never realized how much of my life revolved around food or eating. My doctor has me waiting one more week before starting soft foods. Any advice from your experiences with the surgery and after-effects???
