Sue and the 24-hour test

From: Judy

Comments

Is this the same Sue from San Diego I have e-mailed? I lost your e-mail address, or I would have responded much earlier. Somehow, I thought it was a different Sue, because I know you had surgery and I figured you would already have had this 24-hour test.

If I wasn't clear on the last test -- this is NOTHING to freak out about! You'll wonder what the fuss was! They deaden the area, so you only feel a little something going down. Once they pass the "hump" you don't feel it that bad. I didn't gag or anything. And they tell you not to eat beforehand -- but I didn't know that, and it was still OK. Not the most comfortable test, but nothing you'll be screaming about! You have to realize, this tube is VERY narrow!

For whoever just posted above me about lifting it in your nose when you eat, that is a VERY good, very helpful suggestion. I may have to take this test over and the only problem I had was eating.
