I got an itchy skin rash with hives after taking Prilosec and Achiphex and it did not go away when I tried Prevacid. Morever, it didn't develop until several weeks into these drugs. Are you sure rash is not a side effect of Prevacid? It is for the others. It usually is for any drug you are allergic to. See if it gets worse or continues. Not good to take a drug that gives you a rash, as other things can also develop.
