Yes, I think prilosec or prevacid can ruin the hair. I have been on prilosec for 6 years and my hair began falling out. It continued for about 6 months. My beauty operator said the texture changed also. ( got very limp and extra fine) It finally stopped falling out, but is not growing back in.
