I couldn't believe what the PPI's did to my hair. After one month on them, it turned to nearly flyaway straw and no preparation, gel, whatever, would make it look decent. I was so embarrassed when I had to get up in front of a huge audience and make an important presentation. My mother said, "You need a haircut!" But I knew that wouldn't have done it. It's still pretty bad, now that I'm off (I turned out to be allergic, with rashes and everything from them). Hair loss is also a side effect, but I believe you can regain the hair once you go off.
