Both Prilosec and Prevacid list alopecia (hair loss) under additional adverse experiences.
This has only occurred in less that 1% of the patients and is considered a rare side effect. They are also not sure if the problem was directly related to the drug or from other causes.
It might be a good idea to visit a doctor if you are noticing a change in hair quality to rule out any other possible cause.
