My daughter is 4 months old and was dx. with GERD at less than 24 hours old by me and later confiemed by her with her spitting up 3 hours after a colostrum feeding. She gained weight her first two months of life which kept her around the 40% for her age. Now she is slowing down and has dropped to the 20% for her age. She has had two pH probes, an esophagram, and a sleep study. GERD was diagnosed with the pH probes and tracheoesophageal regurgitation with the esphagram. Her sleep study quickly showed her need for sleeping oxygen. She has been on every medication with no relief. I am sleeping with her every night either in a recliner or with her in her car or infant seat. I would like to know what type of questions to ask the surgeon next week at our appointment. Joanna is only 12 pounds.
