insomnia and prilosec

I've been on prilosec for three months and during that time I have had almost constant early waking (4am or so). I don't really need more than 6 hours sleep, but this is getting very irritating. Early waking is supposedly a sign of depression, but I don't feel otherwise depressed and my reflux symptoms are not keeping me up since i never had them at night anyway. I know that sleep difficulties are listed as a rare side effect, but i wonder whether it is merely underreported.
