Rash on face

Hi, I have been on Losec for about 2years, lately I have developed a rash on both sides of my cheekbones under the eyes, about 2 months ago it was so bad it became scabby (for want of a better word),then after I applied some cream it went away but left a "redness" in that area, it has now come back again, could this be a side effect ?
