A GERD treatment recommendation is that one should not lie down for 2 hours after a meal to prevent reflux. If you are on a PPI such as prilosec is this still necessary? I'm on it for three months for moderate GERd and am symptom free and wonder if rigidity is necessary in this case...hate chairs and love reading in bed after a meal.
