Prilosex and alzheimer's

Saw a report that links (correlatiion isn't necessarily causation)prilosec and alzheimer's. In the study Utah residents over 65 who had Alz were comopared with controls in a population study and their drug use compared. NSAID's, vit. C and E were more common in the Alz group as were H2 drugs...acid reducers. But prilosec was more common (150%). This is impotant if there is a causal relationship, but I wonder if they controlled for age or simply considered over 65. Seems to me that the older subjects were ...70s, 80s the more apt to be on PPI and have Alzheimer's. Maybe theose in 60s were more apt to be on Zantac and not old enough to get Alz. Study referred to in AmericasDoctor but not clear if it was in a jiournal or just presented in a scientific meeting.
