I have excessive burping all day long, chest pain/tightness, back pain, shoulder and between blades. I've been to a gastro who took tests - endoscopy, etc. I've been to a cardio and took thallium stress tests, etc. All is well. My gastro told me that I just may have to live with it. I've taken Prevacid (no help) and Propulsid (help for a short time), but then back came the discomfort. I've read somewhere that all this may be caused by taking in too much air. So, I've decided to literally "keep my mouth shut." I have felt better these last few days, but then again, that happens for a while, and then it all starts again.
