Herbal RemediesFrom: Christina CommentsJust wanted to pass on two remedies that I was told about from a homeopathic pharmacist. I am fairly new to this board and new with GERD:( but if it helps anyone or someone has tried it I'd like to know if it works.I currently am on Prilosec with some relief except it's upsetting my stomach. I feel like when I eat the food doesn't digest properly.The pharmacist suggested taking a digestive enzyme called Megazyme to speed up digestion;which is supposed to decrease reflux. Also he is hearing good result with somthing called "Ume berries" They're sold in health food markets and are freeze dried berries that are supposed to increase alkaline level of saliva. Has anyone heard of these. I'm willing to try them. Am still waiting for my app't with specialist at end of month. Last changed: January 11, 2008 |
