I found out that the treatment was a very heavy on your gastro system, it will tend to give you, or increase gastritis and IBS. However, the treatment did work on the HPylori. After a year the antibody count was down. By the way, just because you are tested positive for the antibodies, doesn't mean you actually are infected! I had a pretty high antibody count but upon biopsy, did not show infection. I too have lots of acid, gastritis and IBS, and some level of reflux( that I'm trying to determine now). Most drugs have a negative effect on me also( except tums and DGL -not really drugs though). I'm trying to do things to reduce tension and spasm in the entire tract.
