On endoscopy they said I had gastritis. The theory on me is that I have poor peristalsis which results in bile and other gastric contents backing up into the stomach and then up into the esophagus. Enjoy! ( sorry just joking). Wether or not they are correct or not, and what to do about it is my quest. I've had noticable gastritis for a couple years. I have been able to improve the situation with diet and lifestyle, but then this esophagus stuff has cropped up.

You might ask your gastro-doc if there were bile stains in your stomach. When I asked my gastro-doc what causes gastritis, he said that they(doctors) don't know, but they do know that painkillers can actually cause it. I was amazed that he couldn't tell me anymore than that. That's when I started exploring alternative approaches.

I'll post whatever I learn. Please keep us posted.
