Also treatment for HPylori( heavy antibiotics) as well as many other drugs - too many to mention. You might want to experiment with diet. I found that wine, too much dairy, coffee and chocolate, and rich fatty foods are clearly problems for me. Some people really get into food allergies/sensitivities which appearantly do cause gastritis. This is a tough road of elimination diets etc., but may be worth exploring. No matter what the physical mechanisms are, there is often an emotional or psychological component to it. Make sure you really take a look at that aspect - it can only help!
