Hi Debbie. I had an endoscopy under sedation at a clinic. I was in and out of there in two hours. With sedation, the procedure is very easy and pain free. I have no recollection of the procedure. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again if needed. I cannot speak to having it done without the sedation, though. Good luck to you.
