Meds Not Proven Safe for Longterm Use!!

I've recently started researching Prilosec and Prevacid and assume Asophix is same. Did you all realize all the literature states these meds are only intended for short term use. The longest is about 4 months. CHRONIC LONG-TERM USE IS ASSOCIATED WITH CANCER of the Stomach.; according to the current literature. Also these PPI meds are relatively new so long-term effects haven;t been studied.
