Re: Endoscopy in office or outpatient?From: Paul CommentsHi Debbie. I live in the Netherlands and I had an endoscopy done about a month ago. Standard procedure here is that patients do not get sedated but get a spray that numbs your throat. It wasn't a very enjoyable expierence, but I survived ;) In retrospect I probably would have chosen a sedation if I had the option.
