>>>This in contrast to the rat studies that are mentioned on the same web site. The stomach tumors that developed in the rat studies have not occurred in humans.

As I have pointed out in an other post....

>>>Many of us with Gerd have been dealing with this disease for a lot of years.

I am tiring of hearing this statement from people with GERD, as though my disease isn't as disabling to me because I'm younger. Fine, whatever. I hope that in a year from now I won't have to even be concerned with other people with GERD's attitudes because GERD will no longer be a part of my life.

>> We have tried lifestyle changes and many other kinds of treatments. Some of us have found that PPI's help us live a more normal life while we continue to search for something better.

This could describe me as well.

>> The purpose of this web site is to educate, provide a forum for discussion and to explore all options and possibilities for relieving symptoms of Gerd as well as to effect a cure.

That is great. It is my ultimate goal to become cured as well.

I'm not here to prove that I'm suffering more than anyone. I'm here, at the library, on medline, and in alternative medicine books constantly to cure my suffering. And I am getting closer everyday...
