Other message boards can be viewed at: Message Boards Post new questions on the New Message Board [ Home | Contents | Search | Next | Previous | Up ] This is a Read Only archive. chronic heartburnFrom: nautica1977@hotmail.com Commentshi I am a 22 year old male and I have suffered from chronic heartburn since I was about 13 years old I am not overwieght and I was told by a doctor about four years ago that I have a hiatal hernia a stomach ulcer and a gatric reflux problem he put me on Ranitidine which didn't work then I was put on losec which cut down the effects but I still suffered daily then I stopped taking them because I moved and didn't follow up with a doctor what I am wondering is if I am a canidate for any kind of permanent treatment that eliminates heartburn and all of its effects I still have heartburn pretty much all of the time I am even awakened in the middle of the night from it on a regular basis could anyone out there pleasesend some information on permanent treatments for it and I would also like to here from people that have the same symptoms and side effects and what they did about it.
