When I was in the hospital, a few days later of taking antibiotics I suddenly developed what you are describing. Scared the heck out of me. It was Thrush. Something that comes when the antibiotics were killing the bad And good bacteria I guess. They gave me Nystatin Oral Suspension, USP. A liquid that I had to take 4 times a day by holding it in my mouth, swirling it around my tongue for a few minutes before swallowing. Tasted like bubble gum and worked great.
