To Mean Paul, I too share your philosophy about chronic heartburn being being a mechanical problem. I have an abnormal LES and nothing will fix it but surgery and I'm not really ready to do that yet.However, I think many of these suggestions can relieve symptoms and am willing to try some. I do appreciate this forum and have found it to be helpful as well as entertaining at times. Thanks to all that post!
