How very discouraging. If I were you, I would consult with two of the best surgeons I could find, once the re-tests are done, travelling as necessary, before I made any decisions. And then get references on whoever you choose for your surgery, if that is your ultimate decision.
If you don't already have the questions for your surgeon that I posted a long time about what questions you should ask pre-fundo, let me know if you'd like me to re-post them for you. You might find them helpful this time around too.
I assume you're already sleeping on a raised bed, but I mention it just in case you're not.
