sorry to hear you are having problems. I just wanted to tell you that to be careful to notice any change in the way you are feeling overall while taking large doses of protonix. It made me very ill feeling like I had the flu. Also a side effect is the feeling of confusion. I am not being suggestive but now that I look back I know the meds were making me feel worse on top of the hearburn it was terrible. Just wanted you to know. Good Luck with new Doc.
