I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I had more than one dr. tell me that it did not matter if I drank only water I would still reflux. Some of us produce too much acid when ever the eating or drinking process begins. Your Les is triggered by the brain in relation to a swallow and so is some acid production. Some things burn worse because they contain acid themselves (juice) but when you get to the point that anything causes heartburn you will understand what I am talking about. It is very discouraging. Thanks goodness for me, due to fundo I can eat or drink almost anything. Good luck I may be wrong but thought I would let you have some input.
