Hi David - I have those palpitations at the base of the sternum. I especially notice it when in the shower ?? But I can have it at any time. I am not a typical heartburn patient - but more chest pain. I blame it on e-spasms or hiatal hernia, but who knows?? There have been quite a few on this board with this symptom.
