I was put on Elavil for fibromyalgia a few years ago. I went through a whole week and did not even realize it was the next weekend. The meds made me a zombie. I flushed them... I was not given the meds for vocal problems...although I had a fundo and hernia repair eventually...I am not a singer...but my voice did crack and I was constantly clearing my throat before surgery...Thise symptoms along with asthmatic symptoms have disapeared since surgery.
