I often read about throat clearing , what exactly is that ?
I have mucous coming up on coughing or "pseudo coughing", pressing the outgoing air to go out in chunks , sounds like grunting. It produces some drops of mucous, which I swallow. Is this throat clearing ?
I have this often after eating, some dozends of times for 10 minutes or such. But I also once had it at night with hundreds of times during 1/2 hour.
I wonder where all this mucous comes from. Larynx ? Trachea ? Esophagus ? I also have PND , but this feels quite different and obviously comes from above nose-cavity.
