QUESTIONS FOR SURGEON?

I have a consultation with a surgeon coming up regarding a possible Fundo.

I have reflux esophagitous and esophagal spasms (including throat spasms). Many of the symptoms are controlled with medication, but I still have regurgitation every day, and spasms.

I'm currently taking PPIs and motillium but don't want to be on them for the rest of my life. I've had an endoscopy which showed reflux and reflux esophagitous, and a PH test/Manometry which showed esophagal spasms and mild acid levels. However, I was on full meds when I took the PH test.

What questions should I be asking the surgeon? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.
