Please help me:) I am 36 years old and I have been suffering from 24 hour reflux, regurgitation and esophageal spasms for 2 years. I tried all the medications and traveled to the Mayo and Cleveland Clinics and ended up at Johns Hopkins.I had every possible test and the doctor told me that I had to have the surgery. With excitement in my childrens faces (to get their mommy healthy again) I had the surgery 5 weeks ago. I am now worse than I was before the operation. My regurgitation and spasms are still haunting me and I continue to take meds. I had a cat scan and a swallowing study that showed that the wrap was in place and the doctors feel that I am just recovering slowly...I weigh 93 pounds and I am 5"5.Has anyone experienced symptoms like this after the surgery? I feel like I made a terrible decision and it breaks my heart to hear my kids ask me why I am not better...and it scares me also! Please someone help me:( My name is Hope but I feel Hopless..
